Shipping policy

Thank you for choosing Owlnest Farm for your unique, handcrafted hummingbird feeders and garden decor! We take great care in packaging and shipping your order to ensure it arrives safely and in beautiful condition. Please read our shipping policy carefully to understand our processes and your options.

1. Processing Time:

As each item at Owlnest Farm is lovingly handmade, our processing time can vary. Typically, orders are processed and prepared for shipment within 3-5 business days (Monday-Friday, excluding holidays) after your order is placed and payment is confirmed.
For personalized or custom orders, the processing time may be longer, and the estimated timeframe will be communicated to you during the order confirmation.
We will notify you via email if there are any significant delays in processing your order.
2. Shipping Methods & Carriers:

We primarily ship via United States Postal Service (USPS). The specific carrier and service used will depend on the size, weight, and destination of your order, as well as the shipping option you select at checkout.
3. Shipping Rates:
Shipping rates are calculated based on the weight and dimensions of your order, the shipping destination, and the shipping method selected at checkout.
You will be able to view the exact shipping cost before finalizing your order.
We may occasionally offer free shipping promotions for orders meeting certain criteria. Please check our website or sign up for our newsletter for updates on these offers.

4. Shipping Destinations:

We currently ship to addresses within the contiguous United States.
We do not offer shipping to Alaska and Hawaii. If we do, please note that shipping times and costs may be higher.
At this time, we do not offer international shipping. We apologize for any inconvenience. We may consider international shipping in the future.
5. Order Tracking:

Once your order has shipped, you will receive a shipping confirmation email containing a tracking number and a link to the carrier’s website where you can track the progress of your shipment.  
Please allow up to 24 hours for the tracking information to become active on the carrier’s website.  
6. Packaging:

We take great care in packaging your handmade items to ensure they are well-protected during transit. We use sturdy boxes, protective wrapping materials, and cushioning as needed.
While we strive to use eco-friendly packaging materials whenever possible, the priority is to ensure the safe arrival of your delicate handcrafted goods.
7. Lost or Damaged Shipments:

Owlnest Farm is not responsible for packages that are lost or damaged in transit. However, if such an issue arises, please contact us immediately at craftstf@yahoo.com. We will work with you and the shipping carrier to try and resolve the situation.
For damaged shipments, please retain all original packaging and take photos of the damage as this may be required for a claim with the carrier.
8. Incorrect Shipping Addresses:

It is the customer’s responsibility to provide accurate and complete shipping information at the time of order. Owlnest Farm is not responsible for packages delivered to incorrect addresses provided by the customer.
If a package is returned to us due to an incorrect address, the customer will be responsible for the additional shipping charges to have it reshipped to the correct address.  
9. Returns Due to Shipping Issues:

If your order is returned to us due to a shipping issue (e.g., undeliverable address, failure to pick up from a post office), we will contact you to arrange reshipment. Additional shipping charges may apply.
