All kinds of site problems. anyone else?

I have a support email sent but wondering if anyone else has this issue.
First, when visiting the site homepage, the first thing that happens is either a warning that the site is not secure, or cannot be reached, then it refreshes and it’s normal. This happens on both Chrome and Edge.
Second, I had an email saying I missed a sale because I didn’t have a valid payment method to charge the fee and the site canceled it. I went to update, tried 4 cards, 2 debit and 2 credit, all of them gave multiple errors trying to authorize.
Anyone else experience these?

I cannot replicate the error, I tried Edge-Chrome-Firefox and get a secure site with a valid certificate.

I am not having that issue on edge. I did have the card issue. I had to contact support. This will take a long time. Additionally, you probably did not actually have a sale, I think they just tell you that to get you to update. They told me that when my card was not actually even expired yet.

Also, if you call your bank they can see if the card was tried and failed very easily.

you entered the card information on 4 of your credit/debit cards on a site that flashed a screen saying " this website is not secure" and all 4 of them gave you errors…

good luck……. thought fees were added to your monthly bill, but hey, why point out obvious things.

~ you might want to get new cards, just sayin’ ~

1. I know not to put cards on an unsecure site. The error happens, then the site refreshes and I can see that it is SSL secured. That’s usually a DNS issue, but hey, what do I know other than 20 years of building websites.

2. Yes, the fees are added to the monthly bill, but the card I had expired and was deleted off the account. But yeah, that’s probably not the “obvious things” you pointed out.

3. Cards are fine. Thanks for the suggestion. I’ll file that one under “useless suggestions of the month.”

you entered 4 of them…. 20 years of website building experience yields you not thinking something was fishy after #3 failed, then like i said… good luck

I feel justified now with the site name and domain change. This was happening during a DNS change. It usually also affects the SSL and callbacks on credit/debit cards. At least I wasn’t crazy.

The site does have some issues such as deleted items re-appearing or items on reserve being sold (and disappearing photos) but I have been on here for years and have never had that happen. The fee is a monthly charge, not per sale, so you might want to check if you have any past due fees? I have had 3 or 4 sales today without issue. I must say Bonanza is the best platform. I also sale on a couple of other platforms and have found that I do prefer the Bonanza platform over the others. Sure there are some glitches but all platforms are going to have some glitches. It also sounds as if you may need to empty your cache. This could be what is giving you some of the errors.

I didn’t have a valid card because it had expired and deleted it. Bonanza used to be the best site I had a dozen orders a day til the new owner took it over. After that I went to a dozen a month. All the glitches have made me reconsider rebuilding my booth.
