I received a message that supposedly came from Bonanza stating that I had an order, but that I needed to update my seller information first. After logging into my account and opening the message, I saw that it was sent by someone who had only recently created their account, which makes me believe it did not actually come from Bonanza. The message asked me to update my store information, and when I clicked the link, I was taken to a page requesting my card details, including my card balance. I have never encountered a verification process asking for a card balance, so this raised a serious red flag for me. Is this a new procedure, or is this likely a scam?

This message is a phishing scam attempting to steal your personal or financial information and should be treated with extreme caution. Sellers on Bonanza have reported receiving fake messages—often sent via the internal “Bmail” system—falsely claiming an order is on hold due to "unverified seller information

Never heard of anything like that from bonanza. But,there have been several fishing email like that here recently. The only place you should have to update any information is internally, no links.
