Vintage Navajo APPLE CORAL SQUASH BLOSSOM NECKLACE EARRINGS Set c1970s For your consideration is this sensational handcrafted Apple Coral and sterling silver overlay squash blossom necklace set by Navajo artisan RP, circa 1970s era. This gorgeous squash blossom necklace set features a necklace with ten exquisite sterling silver overlay squash blossoms set with hand cut cabs of red-orange Apple Coral in the centers. The tails were accented with fabulous overlay cut out designs. The large naja features beautiful overlay details and accented with a topper and a spiny shell cab dangling in the center. These were hand strung on two rows of sterling silver bench beads that tapers to a single strand. The ends were finished with sterling silver cones and closes with lobster claw clasp. The blossoms measure approx 1" x 2", the naja measures about 2 1/2" x 3 1/2" and the necklace measures approx 27 1/2" long. The matching earrings measure about 1 3/4" long on sterling posts. Stamped Sterling and signed RP by the Native artisan. This came from the Gallup NM area and many artists use these initials. We did our due diligence and was not able to attribute to any known artisan. Comes with a Certificate of Authenticity.
