Beautiful Antique Brooch hand crafted from 18K Yellow Gold and Lapis Lazuli, during the end of the Victorian Era and the beginning of the Edwardian Era. By the style of the clasp/closure, this brooch was crafted somewhere between 1890 - 1920. It is in the Etruscan Revival Style. You can see, by the pictures of the purchase receipt dated 11/20/2000, this brooch was an antique 23 years ago! The receipt also shows that back in the year 2000, this piece was purchased for 1050.00.... The price of gold is now 4 times what is was in 2000! There is some wear, as expected, on the backside of this brooch with some of the small balls worn through. None of this wear is evident on the front.
