Curtiss P-40 Warhawk WWII USAAF Flying Tigers #68 Charles Older 1/24 Mahogany Model We have just acquired this beautiful USAAF Curtiss P-40 Warhawk WWII Flying Tigers #68 Charles Older 1/24 Scale Mahogany Desk Model made in the Philippines. One of our long-time customers has retired, and is down-sizing. He has provided us with a large collection of beautiful mahogany desk models, as well as a large variety of unbuilt vintage model kits. The model is in beautiful condition, and does not look like it has ever been displayed. It comes in original shipping box with all foam inserts, and the plastic sleeve is still on the metal arm of the display stand. There are two small cracks at the back of the wings, near where they meet the fuselage. I believe this was caused by fluctuations of humidity while in storage. They are barely noticeable from above, but obvious on the underside. It is otherwise in perfect condition. Please take a look at the last two photos to see them.
