The box is made of carved wood with a hand painted floral decoration (see photos). The item looks to be European in origin, possibly from Germany (see photos). I would date this item to be 85 +/- years old. The item has an attached lid. The item is from an estate liquidation (see photos). This box in total measures about 2.5 inches (6.35 centimeters) high, it is about 6.2 inches (15.75 centimeters) wide, and it is about 4 inches (10.16 centimeters) from the front edge to the back side. The item has some wood losses, some cracks, some finish losses and wear (see photos and / or written description for the condition of this item).
