This rare and beautifully crafted commemorative axe hammer was specially made for a ship-launch ceremony or steel-cutting ritual by Mitsubishi Heavy Industries, dated December 18, 1972 (Showa 47). It includes the original wooden presentation box with detailed Japanese inscriptions. A unique item tied to the construction of a ship named ?Activity Prince? (????????????).
