Rare Japanese vintage enamel ware platter from Japan. Marked SNC (Senalico Industries - ?????????????) Japan 35cm. This soft white platter shows some signs of use which appears normal for an item of this age but none take away from the charm. Please see detail image of surface wear. Very solid with thick enameling adorned with a peaceful natural scene with two beautiful cranes, this is a very well made platter and does not feel like thin metal. In Japanese culture, a red crane, specifically the red-crowned crane is a symbol of good luck, longevity and fidelity.
