A
reference work which covers the entire spectrum of designs and
techniques related to model aircraft. It traces the history, charts the
technical progress made over the years, and examines the use of models
as research instruments. Profusely illustrated throughout, the book
outlines the materials, tools, and technology required to build all
types of model aircraft from model gliders to radio-controlled models,
from full-scale to miniature kits. Drawings and charts enrich the text
and provide easy and comprehensive instructions. Although it is from
1979 and obviously advances have been made since then, this is still a
very useful addition to the library of a model enthusiast.
