See notes below In stock and ready to ship direct from our Ohio warehouse SELLER'S NOTES: This listing is for a previously owned vintage Arthur Wood porcelain teapot in repaired condition that was part of an sale lot. If it was a "normal" teapot we would have discarded it, but it is a beautiful piece made by Arthur Wood so we know there is someone out there who would appreciate adding this to their collection. It looks beautiful when on display, but does have some issues that the buyer needs to be aware of before considering this teapot for actual use. This teapot appears to have been badly broken but nicely glued back together. While the damage isn't easily noticed while the teapot is properly displayed, it is evident upon close inspection. The repair appears to have been done with care and the pot feels solid. There is also significant crazing throughout the pot and lid, and there are two chips in the rim around the lid opening of the teapot. However, it was not done by us so we cannot guarantee how strong the bonds actually are. It will be handled and packaged with great care but it is possible that it could need to be re-glued upon arrival. This item has been discounted in the listing price by half of our normal listing price for an item like this to compensate for the damage and possibility of needing to be repaired by the buyer.
