Star Trek Spaceflight Chronology, 1st and 11 similar items

This is probably the most fascinating Star Trek book I ever owned - a detailed history of mankind's expansion into space from the first NASA days up through the Starship Enterprise. All the landmarks from the Original Series are mentioned here, such as the DY-500 class starship, Zefrem Cochrane, First Contact with Vulcan, etc. Being copyright 1980, the "future history" of the Star Trek universe as depicted in the movies and later series diverges a bit from this book, but that's a quibble - this book reads like a true sci-fi saga, above and beyond the Star Trek associations. Included are schematics and specifications of the evolving starships, timelines, profiles of planets, ships logs, and more. I could never put this one down. This book is in very good condition despite its 31-year age. The binding is tight, there are no cracks to the spine and only some minor wear to the spine edges (see photo). The pages are clean and have hardly faded at all.
