The ? F? inside a circle on the clip on setting was our only clue and fortunately we were able to match the hallmark.
We are not exactly sure what the material is in red. It may be lacquer or it might be some simulated red coral - or something else.
Still a nice pair of clip on earrings from a well thought of jewelry maker.
We found them at an estate sale.
