Native Navajo Old Pawn Style Tufa Cast Sterling Silver Turquoise Concho Belt USA This is a sensational turquoise and sterling silver old pawn style conchos belt by Navajo artisan Tom Ahasteen/Garrison Boyd. The belt features eight conchos and nine butterflies tufa cast from sterling silver in an open floral motif that was typical of the old style of 1920s Navajo jewelry art back in the day. These were further accented with hand cut cabs of top grade Kingman turquoise set in the centers. The conchos and butterflies are all backed by leather for more durability. The belt buckle follows the airiness of the conchos and holds three top grade cabs of turquoise. The beautiful conchos measure approx 2" x 2 1/4", the butterflies are about 2" x 1" and the buckle measures 2 7/8" x 3 1/2". These come on a genuine 48" black leather belt. Stamped Sterling and hallmarked by the Navajo master silversmith. Comes with a Certificate of Authenticity.
