Vintage GANADA RED NAVAJO RUG, Hand Woven Wool, 5.2 ft x 3 ft, 62" x 36", c1970s For your consideration is this authentic Native American textile that exhibits excellent color and skilled depiction of the infamous Navajo Ganado Red, circa 1970s! Featuring exceptional geometric patterns reminiscent of Hubble Trading post rugs. In red, black, white and gray, the dyed and natural yarns were skillfully handwoven, about 21 wefts to the inch. Measuring 62" x 36" and in good used condition with some areas of fading (see photos attached). Unfortunately there is no information of the weaver at this item, however guaranteed to be from Navajo country as indicated by the original tag.
