Two Antique 1930's/1940's Wooden Slat Back/Seat Folding Chair Church Seating - These were once used for extra seating at church functions and then later at picnics and family gatherings. They are sturdy and have metal parts and rods. The wood appears to be beech but cannot confirm as they have aged well. The back of each chair consists of 6 wooden slats and the seat consists of 6 wooden slats. There is a metal rod behind the back and under the seat. You are getting TWO (2) Chairs for this price. Good Preowned Vintage Condition - Each chair sports a lot of vintage patine from years of scuffs, scratches, minor paint splatters to stains and even a crayon mark or two here and there. Each chair carries its own piece of character and history which makes it special. Each chair is sturdy and ready to be used at your next function. These are indoor chairs and are not made to be left outdoors in the weather. They can be easily folded for storage. You may find a minor chip or dent in the wood. Slats do move slightly.
