Creole is very heat and humidity tolerant, bred for the Louisiana climate. Fruits are resistant to cracking. Indeterminate - 70-75 days to maturity after planting. Very productive producing high yields, firm, round, 3" fruits weighing 8oz-12oz - perfect for slicing. Developed by Louisiana State University around 1956. Resistant to Fusarium Wilt (Race 1), Stemphylium Gray Spot Leaf and Alternaria Stem Canker.
