The doll's body is made of wood with the original painted finish. The doll is from Germany. The doll looks to be a Hampelmann or Jumping Jack doll to me (see photos). The item looks to use strings to activate the movement of the limbs and body. The doll may need to be restrung for proper use. The doll is not marked by a maker (see photos) The doll is antique (see photos and determine the maker, the age, and the origin). This item measures in total about 15 inches high. The item has some alligatoring to the original lacquer finish that is over the painted finish. The item has some paint finish wear, some finish losses, some scuffs, and some wear (see photos and / or written description for the condition of this item).
