OOAK Upcycled Skull Crossbones Art Button/ Badge
circa 2025
process - two elements taken from salvaged, vintage cross: tin skull crossbones and halo
used Lock-Tite superglue to adhere to matte surface patterned button w/pin clasp (promo from Busy Beaver, Chicago)
finished with clear coats of Modpodge atop the metal pieces/ backside makers tag also has a clear-coat of Modpodge
BTW- The skull and crossbones on old crucifixes symbolize Golgotha, the "place of the skull" where Jesus was crucified, and the tradition that Adam, the first man, was buried there, representing the victory of Christ over death and the redemption of humanity.
