Medaglia Centenario del Credito Italiano 1870-1970.
Incisore: Enrico Manfrini.
Su un lato della medaglia troviamo la figura di banchiere rinascimentale seduto ad un tavolo, che pesa con bilancia un sacchetto e riporta i dati sul registro.
In basso: E. Manfrini.
Sull'altro lato vediamo invece un'ape operosa tra le date 1870 e 1970.
In basso: logo Senesi.
Si tratta di una medaglia coniata, realizzata nel 1970, con fondo opaco, dallo Stabilimento Senesi di Milano, per celebrare il centenario del Credito Italiano.
Trae origine dalla Banca di Genova, fondata nel 1870; nel 1895 ha assunto il nome di Credito Italiano in occasione di un aumento di capitale.
Diviene una delle maggiori Banche d'Italia.
Nel 1998 una complessa operazione di fusione tra il Gruppo Credito Italiano e il Gruppo Unicredito, costituisce UNICREDIT.
