The Rose 1979 Bette Midler movie VHS 1990 and 50 similar items

This is the 1979 film The Rose, starring Bette Midler, on VHS (1990 VHS release). Nominated for four Academy Awards, The Rose is loosely based on the life of Janis Joplin. The film follows self-destructive rock star "Mary Rose Foster" in the late 1960s, who struggles to cope with the pressures of her career and the demands of her ruthless business manager. Midler performed the soundtrack album for the film, and its title track became one of her biggest hit singles. Rated R, movie runs approximately 134 minutes long. Cassette tape is in good condition, came from a relative's house and played fine the last time they watched it in 2020 (they don't have a VCR now, but it's just been in a cabinet since then and should play the same). The case/sleeve has a little rough area at the bottom on one side (see pic) where I think a sticker was removed, but other than that it's in good shape. Asking $3.00 obo.
