Chunky, glass, rock candy beads of turquoise blue glass with specks of black; faceted opaque glass beads; and clear, faceted crystals channel set to create rondel spacers; make up this gorgeous long necklace, dangle earrings, and a three-strand spring wire flexible cuff bracelet. Spectacular, mid-century style faux southwestern turquoise jewelry…. Flagrantly, fabulous and FAKE. The 26” long necklace; the largest beads are ” x 5/8” and flanked by the sparkly rondels and separated by individually in wire sections. The 2” long earrings have French clips with a trio of black beads at the bottoms that add more exciting movement. Then there is the amazing statement piece… triple strand of matching beads strung on memory wire with gathers to help hold the shape when worn – flexible to fit a wide range of wrists. None of the pieces are marked by the designer and all are in excellent, vintage condition. (If the set were marked, the price would have been doubled.) These days, these beads would be repurposed, but finding a three-piece set… well, I just had to keep them together! Consignor suspected they are made by a designer like HOBE, or CARNEGIE, DEMARIO, VENDOME, and might have sported paper tags which were typically discarded the first time they were worn; and, coil bracelets often weren’t marked by makers.
