Delicate Vintage Adjustable
Tibetan Carved Arch Shaped Double Dorje Yak bone Beaded Amulet Bracelet
Top
quality Tibetan bracelet made of 3 delicately carved yak bone slips in vintage style. The center
larger arch rectangle shaped slip carved with Tibetan double dorje (for protection),
for the size of 40 * 17 mm (length * width). The two side slips adorned with Tibetan
Auspicious symbols as well. To make a symbol, the craftsman first cut the yak
bone into small blocks and then sand them down by hand; then the yak bone is dyed
a dark brown using tea; the last step is to hand carve the symbol onto it. Making
such a yak bone slip requires a long and tedious process. BTW, the bracelet can
be fastened by using a slide bead, very easy to adjust!.
