Lehi Fighters for the Freedom of Israel Ribbon This is the Israeli Lehi organization enamel ribbon. Lehi means - "Lohamei Herut Israel" = Israel freedom fighters. This was one of the partizans organisations raised before the state of Israel was founded, which fought to free Israel of the British and found a Jewish country. You can find more photos and details here Awarded to: a) those who were members of Lehi for a period of at least six months between 1940 and the Day of Independence of Israel. b) all members of the Lehi who were killed, wounded, arrested or took part in operations.
