Vintage original 46x62 in. French Grande affiche (poster) from the classic 1980's sci-fi drama, E.T. THE EXTRA-TERRESTRIAL, released in 1982 by Universal Pictures and directed by Steven Spielberg, in which a troubled child (Henry Thomas) summons the courage to help a friendly alien escape Earth and return to his home world. The cast includes Dee Wallace, Peter Coyote, Robert MacNaughton, Drew Barrymore, and C. Thomas Howell. The design is one of the most recognizable movie poster images from the 1980's and depicts the hands of E.T. and Elliott (Henry Thomas) coming together in healing and friendship amidst the blackness of outer space with the Earth beneath them. Unrestored and folded as originally issued, this vintage original French Grande poster was printed for the film's orignal 1982 French theatrical release. It is in very fine condition with a small crease on the bottom right corner and light signs of wear at the center crossfold. There are no pinholes, tears, stains, or other flaws and the color tints are fresh and vibrant without any signs of fading.
