Item description

Vintage original 14 x 17 in. US jumbo lobby card from the 1930s musical comedy/romance, TROPIC HOLIDAY, released in 1938 by Paramount Pictures and directed by Theodore Reed, in which a Hollywood screenwriter looking for inspiration for his next film goes to Mexico, where he runs into a beautiful Mexican girl who sets her sights on him. The cast includes Bob Burns, Martha Raye, Dorothy Lamour, Ray Milland, Binnie Barnes, and Tito Quizar. The image depicts a close shot of Martha Raye dressed as a matador and she yells out a call. Printed on a beautiful textured linen stock, it is unrestored in good- condition only as shown with a hard horizontal fold across the center and some surface paper loss on the lower right corner.
