The Fairchild Republic A-10 Thunderbolt II is a single-seat, twin-turbofan, straight-wing, subsonic attack aircraft developed by Fairchild Republic for the United States Air Force. In service since 1976, it is named for the Republic P-47 Thunderbolt, a World War II-era fighter-bomber effective at attacking ground targets, but commonly referred to as the "Warthog" or "Hog". The A-10 was designed to provide close air support to friendly ground troops by attacking armored vehicles, tanks, and other enemy ground forces; it is the only production-built aircraft designed solely for CAS to have served with the U.S. Air Force. Its secondary mission is to direct other aircraft in attacks on ground targets, a role called forward air controller-airborne; aircraft used primarily in this role are designated OA-10. WIKI
This item is manufactured by "4D" as a "puzzle model." But actually, the quality of the kit is excellent, and is so well engineered that when you assemble it it will stay assemnled without glue. But not being the only model of this aircraft we have ever seen in 1/144 scale, we offer it as a serious scale model to be built by skilled hobbyists who have the tools and materials to give it justice.
We recommend you acquire some Squadron Putty or equivalent. One tube will last for years for a busy 1/144 model kit builder.
The kit is very nicely made and includes a stand. It does not include decals, but we have some Y-kraft Japan 1/144 decals and can provide one set for it.
Note: We are sorry, this kit is not in it's original box, it is bagged with the "box artwork".

This item is manufactured by "4D" as a "puzzle model" and is designed, we suppose, to be put together and taken apart over and over? But actually, the quality of the kit is excellent, and is so well engineered that when you assemble it it will stay assemnled without glue.
The kit is very nicely made, with some room for improvements, and includes a stand. It did not include decals, but we include Y-kraft Japan 1/144 decals.
The kit also lacks engine tailpipes, they are just no parts provided for them. We provide resin tailpipes.
Note: We are sorry, this kit is not in it's original box, it is bagged with the "box artwork".
