There are no previous ownership marks. There is no unpleasant odor or mustiness present. That said, this hardcover book is in somewhat fragile condition. The front hinge is fully cracked (pictured). The rear hinge is nearly cracked. The binding of the book is generally loose. There are a few (less than ten) loose pages, a few of which have completely separated from the binding but are laid in in place, but all 327 pages (and illustrations) are present - no missing pages. There is obviously age toning to the pages, but this is not overly significant. The cloth covers are well worn and the spine panel is nearly completely faded.
