1940s Box Purse of Black Carnival Beads in an oval shape, with amber Lucite Lid and Braided beaded Handle. The mirror is intact but in poor condition. The top closes but not securely. since the top clasp is missing. There are no beads missing at all. The Lucite is scratched from normal use. The hinge is good and the lid lays flat. The inside is used and the pocket is strained but intact. There are no cracks( the background reflected on the lid and made it look like a crack) Great for costuming or if you can live with the flaws, which really do not show unless inspected, your next vintage purchase~ Measures 9.25" across the bottom, 5" tall. 4" deep. Strap drop 5.5"; no label.
