Item description

Panoramic photo in Good condition with some damage/blemishes. About 19 1/4" long and 8" high. You might be able to clean it up some. It has been loosely rolled up for some time and will be mailed that way. The photos seen here were taken with the photo behind some clear plastic which itself has scratches and a few marks on it, those may show here. I found the same photo reproduced on a historical website, that copy also has its' irregularities and does not show the bottom set of photos. Of which my favorite has to be the one with the cut-out plywood sentry and as I am sure it didn't last 70 years I wonder if anyone secured it for a keepsake. Lackland AFB was that very year converted to a training facility and what that means is there are some very young servicemen in this photo, of whom we may assume some if not most became career fliers and saw action in both Korea and Vietnam. Reproduced below for reference is a copy of the same photo found online, note the patterns of light and dark, it would be hard to do that, perhaps someone had it where some vertical blinds let light in on it for many years, hard to say how that happened.
