Item description

This is a Thomas Floral Chintz porcelain vase. It has a multicolor floral design. Thomas Porzellan was founded in 1904 and became part of Rosenthal in 1908. It continued under its own name thereafter. The vase is approximately 6 1/2" tall and approximately 4 1/2" wide at the widest part. It has a gold rim at the top and a narrow gold line at the foot. On the underside there are the numbers 1074/2 incised, a green stamped Thomas Germany plus the Thomas shield with Thomas in the shield, and red numbers 7010 23. The vase has no cracks, chips, scratches, crazing, or repairs. This was my grandmother's vase and she gave it to me on a visit to Munich in 1952. I believe it was made between 1945 and 1950. I am downsizing and must part with sentimental items as well as other things. Non-smoking household.
