Aftermarket sunroofs have become very popular over the last 10 years, if your sunroof switch looks like any in our last picture, you have an aftermarket. This sunroof was used in the Camry that was built in North American, not Japan. Different factories around the world use different sunroof designs. In your door frame there is a VIN number, under that it should say "Made in ____" This sunroof will ONLY fit North American models, most say Kentucky. Also be wary of amateur sellers stating this sunroof will fit many years, it will not, the 1999 Camry was specific to the 1999 North American Built model. This glass panel was removed from a 1999 Camry that had a blown engine so there is no unseen damage on this panel as is found with a majority of sunroof glass panels that are removed from wrecked vehicles. Often times on a wrecked vehicle, the metal trim around the glass, under the seal, will incur slight bends which will make the panel leak soon after. We have been dealing in sunroof glass panels for 20 years now and only sell the panels that come through our shop that are off of vehicles that have not been in major accidents. We also 100% inspect and clean the panels, especially the seals, in an effort to identify any imperfections that may cause issues down the road. Please double check your measurements against the ones I have listed to ensure a good fit. The glass panels are inspected after removal from the vehicle as the seals can be easily damaged during the removal process. The sunroof comes read to bolt in.
