Item description

You are buying 5 Jack-In-The-Pulpit( Arisaema triphyllum ) bulbs. This is a stemless plant, 8"-2'ft. in height. It has one to two long-stalked,3-parted leaves; and at the tip of its flower stalk, which is not quite as long as the leaves, it has a peculiar flowering structure of tinted shades of green, greenish-white and purple. The leaves and flower stalks rise from an underground perennial bulb hard and turnip shaped. The fruit is a mass of brilliant red berries each containing 1-5 seeds. These are also well knows in the southern states as INDIAN TURNIPS. We DO NOT ship to AK, HI P.R. We are a licensed nursery in the state of TENNESSEE cert#2235. Planting instructions are included with every order. Thank you for looking at our listings.
