The watch does have a couple part that has some red coloring. I was able to get some of it out but I didn't want to accidentally damage the prongs holding the Rhinestones. Please see the photos for the condition of the watch. If you have any questions, please feel free to ask. Watches that are pre-owned with a battery change can have lower water resistance. New installed batteries can run out of power quicker than expected do to the batteries themselves or how much draw the watch takes to run. I do test every watch before shipping but problems can occur that are outside my control that may stop the watch from working or working correctly. I do offer free automatic returns for any problems that can occur.
