Item description

Just over 8 1/2" wide and made it easier for two people to use it. Doesn't actually have any cigarette slots and could have been used just as a knick knack but the plain fact is that anything which remotely resembled an ashtray in the past usually became an ashtray. This is showing use of some kind, there is a ding right at top middle, could be worked back out some from the reverse. "Made In Japan, A. C. Bosselman Co., New York". The Bosselman company was known for souvenirs in the late nineteenth into the twentieth century including such as for the Panama Exposition. I think this is early 20th century.
