It can be used as a coaster (for SMALL drink glasses with a small 1-3/4" diameter or less); coin or keys tray, to hold any small items, as a tray under a display item, even as an ashtray if you wish. Multi-use, you-name-it! It is all antiqued brass, no felt on bottom.
