Offered here is this wonderful Set of Antique Solid Brass Andirons. The set is made to look like a torch with a flame top, and also has a smaller flame set behind the torch. I believe that the set dates to the late 19th Century. They are both in very good condition, but have had their share of use, and have a lot of scorching on the back from being in the fire, as well as some oxidation on the torches from age. They are each 20.5" tall, and about 19" front to back, and 9" across the feet in front. They are a gorgeous set of andirons, with amazing detail. They would be a useful and stylish addition to any hearth, and a wonderful piece of history as well.
