Vintage Cerve Art Decorative Whiskey Decanter and Shot Glass Set 1960s Barware Mid-Century Modern ( MCM ) Art glass made by Cerve (Bormioli family) circa 1958 - 1969. This elegant, shouldered decanter with six (6) impressive matching shot glasses are sure to add opulence to your barware collection. The painted colors on each piece are royal purple and burgundy with 24 karat decorative gold trim on clear glass. Decanter holds about 16.9 fluid ounces of your favorite cocktail. Underneath the decanter is embossed the maker's mark: 50cl 3 33mm CERVE 3 A. On outside of this decorated decanter is painted CERVE MADE IN ITALY Each "double shot" glass holds about 3 fluid ounces. Underneath each double-shot glass is embossed CERVE (inside oval logo with 2 stags/deer/elk) ITALY, and, what seems to be, unique individual two-digit numbers (difficult to confirm). On outside of each decorative glass is painted CERVE MADE IN ITALY The luxurious cut-glass decanter will have you feeling noble and dignified while you're pouring your guests straight shots of spirits like tequila, whiskey, vodka, or rum (liqueur not included). The tall, slender shot glasses are very comfortable in your hand. The faceted bottle stopper is made of cut glass with a synthetic/plastic, threaded plug that securely fits snug and tight as it should. Stopper helps to create an air-tight seal to preserve the contents of your liquor or whiskey and prevent changes in aroma/taste due to leaks.
