For your consideration, 1 Vintage Hand Made Wooden Cigar Box. No ordinary cigar box, a beautiful, hand crafted box with numerous special features! The Detailed Wood Box is approx 8 1/2" X 6" X 3 1/2" and was hand made. This box was handmade in Nicaragua by trained professionals who use only the highest quality materials. Designed to last, these boxes are built from scratch using the finest Spanish Cedar wood available on the market. This box features a nice box construction including a lned box and a working ornamental brass hasp closure. The line?s artwork is modeled after an old Cuban brand of the same name and means ?the great offering?. These cigars are a more affordable My Father premium line, and comes packed in 20 count boxes. The box originally held 20 cigars. My Father Cigars, also known as El Rey de los Habanos, Inc., is a cigar company led by Jose "Pepin" Garcia, his son Jaime, and daughter Janny. The company has factories in Estelí, Nicaragua and Miami, Florida, and produces millions of cigars a year. The Garcias also produce cigars for other brands, including Tatuaje, L'Atelier, San Cristobal, and La Aroma de Cuba. The shining "My Fathers Cigar" seal is in excellent condition and still firmly attached. It signifies that is box is GENUINE and ORIGINAL It is in excellent condition with no holes, cracks or scratches. - see pictures. The white rough areas are light reflection, not flaws in the wood. A Brief History of Cigar Boxes In 1863, the packaging of cigars in BOXES was made mandatory. Only cigar boxes made of glass and/or wood were permitted. Tin boxes were eventually allowed a few years later; but by 1878, laws had been relaxed to allow for novelty stogie packaging. CONDITION: Pre Owned. Solid wood. It is empty. There is nice decal on the lid and on the inside it has a Beautiful Colorful paper label. The tax seal is still on it. It also has brass gold tone latches on the lid and the hinges.
