Cutimed Siltec B Dressings Cutimed Siltec B Dressings have been designed to provide gentle and effective exudate management in wounds such as venous leg ulcers, diabetic foot ulcers, arterial ulcers, pressure ulcers, skin grafts and any moderate to heavy exuding wound regardless of aeitology. Cutimed Siltec B Dressings have a non-adhesive silicone wound contact layer which protects surrounding skin and allows pain free atraumatic dressing changes and newly formed tissue has optimal protection in a moist environment. Above the foam core is a layer of super-absorbent particles which absorb a multiple of their own weight and reliably bind exudate even under compression. The dressings have a highly breathable top film made of polyurethane that is permeable to moisture but prevents strike through from wound exudate and facilites a dynamic MVTR to help maintain moist wound conditions as the wound heals. Vertical absorption through the polyurethane foam and the non-adhesive silicone wound contact layer minimises the risk of maceration of peri-wound skin. Cutimed Siltec B Dressings have a gently adhering silicone border and do not require additional fixation.
