It takes a AA battery, but upon testing, the hands don't move and I don't hear any ticking sound. The back is missing its panel. There is a small black dial on the back that you can still turn and the hands move when manually turned. The clock has scratches and scuffing from use. There are no cracks. Since it's a Goofy clock, the clock numbers are backwards, and when it did work, the hands went backwards, too. Comes from a smoke-free and pet-free home.
