F.B. Rogers Silver Company 1776-1976 Bicentennial Commemorative Plate Case Manufactured in Taunton, Mass. to commemorate the U.S.A.'s Bicentennial in 1976. The plate still looks like new and comes with it's original fabric lined case. It also still has its plastic bag that was treated with non tarnishing agents to insure it's lasting condition. The outer case does show some wear on the back and front. Please review photos. The plate is made of "Pewterlite", which according to the company insert that came with the plate, "will not tarnish, and features the luxurious look of pewter..." Easy to clean and maintain the finish, all this plate needs to keep it looking new is to wash it with warm soapy water and dry with a soft cloth. The box measures 11.5 inches x 11.5 inches. The plate is 11 inches in diameter.
