Up for offer is this fantastic and rare 1925 Adolf Fargnoli, Spain, carved wood and copper box with mother of pearl. The box is inscribed on the bottom. It measures 6 1/8 inch wide, 3 inches deep and 2 7/8 inches tall. It is a stunning piece and is overall in great condition for age. There are a few lines in the wood from the wood drying maybe? - might have been made this way and does not go completely through as you cannot see but a small spot on the inside of the lid. It is tight and in tact. The inside is lined in what feels like silk - in great overall condition with a few loose threads/wear along the inside top front edge. There is a key that fits - whether it is original or not I do not know - it was easy to lock with this key but very hard to get unlocked. Across the front there is a gap between the top and base of the box on the right side. A gorgeous rare old piece. See all photos.
