Item description

In the following pages, I will share with you my experiences, memories and observations of the members of some twenty four different groups of Boro Park. My family has lived there since 1970, and as the title suggests, this book contains my reflections on its faces and places. This book was written from my own, clearly subjective viewpoint. Nonetheless, objective facts and information are also provided herein, as these are important as well. The book you are now holding in your hands contains much sociological, historical, and psychological information, so it is useful for the scholar as well as the layman. I have chosen to write this book in a conversational style, without any references or bibliography. Pretend, if you will, that we are just sitting together, chatting, noshing, and having an overall good time.
