Item description

For various models of Ford, Lincoln and Mercury Genuine Ford Motorcraft. Arrives fully assembled and ready for installation. Picture showing the connector taken apart is to demonstrate all of the included components as specified by Ford. Cheap aftermarket connectors leave out various components. Includes: Connector Housing (30% glass reinforced. Chinese version: not so much) Grommet cap Primary lock reinforcement CPA(Connector Position Assurance device) Matte seal Interfacial seal. ELECTRICAL SPECIFICATIONS (Cheap Chinese connectors actually allow arcing) Voltage: 250V Current: 22.0A Contact Resistance: 10 milliohms max. Dielectric Withstanding Voltage: 500V DC Insulation Resistance: 20 Megohms min. You will want to reuse your factory original wiring and terminals. 1. Simply remove the wire/terminal assemblies from the old connector (feel free to break it apart as you have new ones! Just be careful to not damage your wire/terminals). 2. Do note the position of each wire in relation to the connector (truth is, when replacing your coil connector, the coil nor the PCM cares which terminal is positive and which is negative...so don't stress). DO not apply this fact to other sensors/switches. Some sensors/switches are negative triggered and some have internal diodes. Anywho that's more info than you wanted, so I'll stop there. 3. Insert the wire/terminals into the new connector. 4. Rinse and repeat with each connector. 5. Done.
