This handkerchief was probably for a bride. It appears to be linen. The burnout effect of the design is lovely but, for me, not practical to carry regularly. It measures about 10 1/2 inches square. Certainly perfect for that "something old". It is over 25 years old. It needs to be ironed and I did not iron it before photographing because I feel someone will wash it upon receipt and did not want to subject it to additional heat. It has no stains or tears.
