Item description

#APRAZKA Holyland Sage (Salvia judaica), also known as Judean Sage or Menorah Plant, is a perennial herb native to the eastern Mediterranean region. Holyland Sage is a square-stemmed aromatic plant with lavender-purple flowers that bloom in late spring to early summer. The flowers are whorled around the stems, giving it a unique appearance. Like other sages, it has culinary uses and can be uséd to flavor dishes. Some Jewish scholars believe it inspired the form of the traditional Jewish menorah. Interestingly, dried flowers from Holyland Sage have been found in ancient burial sites, indicating its use in funerary practices thousands of years ago.
