Hydromol Ointment 125g - Dry Skin Moisturiser and Soap Substitute Hydromol Ointment is for general use as an emollient to moisturise and soften dry skin. It may be used instead of soap. Hydromol Ointment is a highly occlusive emollient product, that contains no added fragrances, colour or preservatives. Hydromol Ointment is particularly useful for very dry skin, for use under wet wraps or as a night treatment. Hydromol Ointment is for use with any condition in which dry skin is a feature. Directions Hydromol Ointment should be massaged into the skin as often as required, it may also be added to the bath by first melting it with hot water. When using it as a bath additive, care should be taken as it will make to surface of the bath slippery. Warnings Please be aware that this product contains Liquid Paraffin which is highly flammable, keep away from open or gas fires or hobs and naked flames, including candles etc. and not to smoke when using these paraffin containing preparations. Bedding and clothing should be washed regularly (preferably daily) to minimise the build-up of impregnated paraffin although it may not be completely removed, unless it is washed at a high temperature as paraffin is invisible and can accumulate over time Hydromol Ointment is not associated with and known side effects, but do not use Hydromol Ointment if you are known to be sensitive to any of its ingredients. If you experience any skin irritation or any other ill effects with Hydromol Ointment, consult your doctor or pharmacist immediately and ask if you should continue with your medication.
