Iberogast, oral liquid, 20 ml bloating, stomach and intestinal cramps Iberogast, drops, 20 ml is a herbal medicine for the treatment of functional (gastrointestinal) disorders associated with gastrointestinal motility (passage), such as functional dyspepsia (indigestion) or irritable bowel syndrome. Action Iberogast reduces the feeling of fullness, flatulence, weakens stomach and intestinal spasms. Iberogast exhibits anti-inflammatory, windpipe, antioxidant and antimicrobial properties. Iberogast increases the concentration of mucosa-protecting prostaglandins and mucin, reduces the concentration of mucosa-damaging leukotrienes. Inhibits gastric juice secretion by gastric lining cells. Dosage Iberogast should always be used exactly as described in the patient leaflet or as prescribed by your doctor or pharmacist. If in doubt, ask your doctor or pharmacist. Oral administration. Unless otherwise instructed by your doctor, Iberogast is taken in a small amount of liquid before or during meals. The recommended dose of Iberogast is: adults and adolescents over 12 years of age: 20 drops 3 times a day, children aged 6 to 12 years: 3 times a day 15 drops each, children under 6 years of age: not recommended.
