Item description

ITEM DESCRIPTION:: ----Not sure when this was made or the type of metal used or who actually made it, but I assume it was made around 1964 in the USA..........I feel certain that this is not a US mint product...I think the medal commemorates the 100 year anniversary of the passage of The National Bank Act in1864 that allowed for banks to obtain a National Banking charter versus the old system of individual state charters....I further assume the person shown is Salmon Chase who was Treasury Secretary under President Lincoln and was a big proponent of a national banking system...He had a pretty long political history---senator and governor from Ohio and a later supreme court chief justice...The medal could also commemorate the 100 year anniversary of the First and Citizens National Bank getting its federal charter...I know nothing about such bank... ----item is large and heavy and shows contact marks, discoloration, some light pitting or corrosion....approx 1.75" across at widest and 2.625" long at longest and almost 1/4" thick... ---ALL ITEMS MUST BE MAILED--NO PICK UP OR DELIVERY.. ... *************SHIPPING COSTS---See calculator for cost based on buyer's location.*************************** --PAYMENT--due in 10 days and payable in US dollars........You can use the checkout page or wait for an invoice from me..If you want to combine items to save on shipping costs, you should wait for an invoice from me..Any questions--just send me an email...... --SHIPPING...All shipments to and from us must go thru the US Postal Service..Will usually ship in 4 days and will normally combine (but not always) to save you money.... Having mailed thousands of packages over 40+ years, I know how to pack and will not cut corners to save a little postage....I will not falsify customs documents on foreign sales, and the buyer must pay any import duties or taxes imposed by their home country on the importation of goods into the buyer's home country... --RETURNS...I want the buyer to be happy with their purchases and allow a hassle free return privilege.... Naturally, I expect you to return the same item in the same condition that I sent out. ...Normally, no postage or handling will be refunded...To ensure I get the same item back that I sent, I try to mark items (hidden), maintain pics, and copy centerfolds, etc..Kindly send me an email on your intent to return an item.. --POLICIES--postage, payment terms, sales tax, etc are my rules--please do not try to change them.....State sales tax may be collected ...
